What are the full range of options when it comes to updating and maintaining kitchen cabinets?
Maybe the coating is showing age or turning different colors. The finish is failing—chipping on the edges. The style feels dated.
And too often, the only advice is to paint over it—or rip it all out and start from scratch.
I’m here to offer a better way :)
What drives me is helping people restore and protect their cabinets and save them, so you can keep what you already have—whether it’s through full refinishing, updating the style with new doors, or applying industrial-grade finishes that last for decades. The goal is always the same: real value without unnecessary replacement and throwing more things in landfills.
I love seeing the pure joy on amazement on people’s faces when their dream kitchen comes to life—and they realize they made the right call on who to trust. That trust means everything to me. It’s never taken for granted, and it’s a big part of what keeps me going.
There’s nothing more satisfying than turning something people were ready to replace... into a custom, fully refinished masterpiece they’re proud of and will enjoy for years more to come.
I’ve always been drawn to working with my hands. Growing up in West Africa, I helped in gardens and fields, watching people use creativity and grit to solve problems and work more efficiently. That’s where I first saw the beauty of craftsmanship—how hard work, repetition, and a sharp mind could turn labor into something meaningful and soul-fulfilling.
Later, I started my own exterior and interior painting business. As I took on more cabinet projects, I began trying a wide range of coatings and techniques—but I kept searching for something better. I wanted results that not only looked great but could truly stand the test of time in a busy kitchen.
That search led me on a long journey. I dove deep—researching, testing, connecting with top manufacturers and distributors, and learning from some of the best in the finishing industry. Over time, I developed and refined a state-of-the-art refinishing system using water-based 2K polyurethanes—the same coatings trusted by top kitchen manufacturers around the world.
To me, painting and refinishing is more than just a job—it’s a practice.
It’s like a good hike or working with your hands in the dirt—repetitive in the best way, and a reminder that peace lives in the process. Every project is a chance to grow, to refine muscle memory, and to bring something worn down back to life with care and intention.
And that’s what keeps me going: knowing I can take something people thought they had to replace… and turn it into something they’re proud to keep.
When I’m not refinishing kitchens, I’m with my wife and my son, Korben—he’s almost four and full of life. We spend our days at the park, the pool, visiting grandparents, and dancing around the living room. Being a dad is the most meaningful part of my life.
I lived in Hawaii for six years before moving to Oregon in 2008, and I still recharge through water—surfing, swimming, or just being near the ocean. We take beach trips whenever we can. The water always feels like home.
I value connection—through family, nature, and the work I do. I want every client to feel like they’re working with someone genuine, down to earth, and trustworthy.
I believe good work shouldn’t just look great—it should last.
That’s why I’ve built my entire process around premium finishes, proven techniques, and an efficient system that delivers high-end results.
This isn’t about shortcuts. It’s about giving you real, lasting value—factory-quality results using European coatings made for real kitchen life.
If you're ready to explore your options—whether it’s a full refinish, new custom doors, or simple upkeep—I’d love to show you what’s possible.
